Ninja Gaiden Black (Tecmo, 2005) is the lowest-selling game in the Ninja Gaiden series, selling only 90,000 copies on the original Xbox console as of 7 November 2018, according to vgchartz.com,
Technically speaking, Ninja Gaiden Black was an enhanced re-release of the best-selling game in the series, 2004’s Ninja Gaiden, which sold 1.23 million copies. The lowest-selling original game in the series was 2013’s Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z – also the first game in the series that didn’t feature Ryu Hayabusa as the main protagonist – which sold 140,000 boxed copies, if you combine Xbox 360 and PS3 sales.
