This included a hat-trick with the last ball of the second over and the first two balls of the fourth as the visitors subsided to 70 all out, chasing 91 for victory.

Peter Aho (b. 2 March 2003) is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who was 18 years 236 days old when achieved his record-breaking bowling figures.

Eight men – including Sri Lanka’s Ajantha Mendis twice – have taken six wickets in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match. India’s medium-pacer Deepak Chahar, with 6 for 7 against Bangladesh in 2019, previously held the best T20I bowling analysis by wickets taken and runs conceded.

Five six-wicket hauls in T20Is were registered in 2021, by players from Nigeria, Uganda, Argentina, Namibia and Australia. Ashton Agar’s 6 for 30 for the Aussies against New Zealand was the only one to occur in a match between two full members of the ICC – as opposed to the 94 associate ICC members that were registered by 2021. Mongolia and Tajikistan were the latest countries to join the group, in 2021.
