The youngest eSports player to have their earnings reported by eSports Earnings (www.esportsearnings.com) was "code-red" (Northern Mariana Islands), who was just 10 years and 257 days old. Competing at Quake III Arena (Activision, 1999) at the Babbage's CPL Tournament, Dallas, Texas, USA on 17 December 2000, he placed in the top 64 players, earning $300 (£203). "code-red" is now 28 years old and despite never earning any prize money playing games again, he remains the highest-earning gamer from the Northern Mariana Islands.
