Taylor Swift’s (USA) pre-tax earnings amounted to $52 million (£38.54 million) in 2021, according to Forbes’ survey of the Highest-Paid Entertainers 2022, published on 9 February of that year. In a Top 25 packed with heavyweight musicians such as Bruce Springsteen ($435 million/£322.42 million), Jay-Z ($340 million/£252.01 million) and Kanye West ($235 million/£174.18 million), Swift was the highest-ranked female musician and the third-richest female overall, behind actress Reese Witherspoon ($115 million/£85.23 million) and film producer Shonda Rhimes ($81 million/£60.03 million).

Much of this came from reworked releases such as Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) and also endorsement deals with Peloton and Starbucks.
