“Propuesta Indecente” (“Indecent Proposal”) by Romeo Santos (USA, b. Anthony Santos) racked up 125 consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart from 10 August 2013 to 26 December 2015.

The bachata song was taken from Santos’ second studio album, Formula – Vol. 2 (2014). It enjoyed three weeks at No.1 from 28 September to 12 October 2013 (after debuting at No.44 on the 50-position chart on 10 August 2013), and spent a fourth and final week at the top spot on 1 February 2014.

Remarkably, due to strong airplay, sales and streams over a period of more than two years, “Propuesta Indecente” spent all but two of its 125 chart weeks in the Top 5.

The song’s video - shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and featuring Mexican actress and singer Eiza González – was a YouTube hit (it had amassed 1.39 billion views as of 18 October 2018).

The song with the second-longest stay on the chart is “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber – 91 weeks (and counting) as of 20 October 2018.
