Lamine Yamal became the second-youngest player to start a Champions League semi-final after Schalke’s Julian Draxler (17 years 226 days) in 2011. The Spanish superstar struck during a 3–3 first-leg draw with Inter – but it was the Italians who progressed to the final, 7–6, following the second leg.
