First Marvel character in Fortnite

On 8 May 2018, to mark the cinematic release of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War, the mad Titan, Thanos, descended into Fortnite Battle Royale. The temporary crossover event was called "Infinity Gauntlet" mode. Players could transform into Thanos – gaining his powers into the bargain – if they managed to find the Infinity Gauntlet that landed at a random location at the start of the game, carried by a meteor. If Thanos was elminated the gauntlet would fall to the ground, free for any other character to collect. Thanos could fire a blast of energy using the Power stone, destroy structures and players with a super-punch, leap high into the air and stomp on enemies, regenerate his shield by eliminating other players and suffered no fall damage. He was unable to build or use weapons and contraptions such as launchpads. As usual, the winner was the last player left standing – whether that was Thanos or not. The Thanos crossover ended on 15 May 2018.
