Most critically acclaimed PlayStation-exclusive action-adventure videogame

Action-adventure sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Naughty Dog, 2009) sees Drake help steal a Mongolian oil lamp linked to Marco Polo's 1292 voyage from China to Persia. The adventure takes Drake - and old flame Chloe Frazer - to Türkiye, Borneo, Nepal and Tibet. Critics gushed over its plot, gameplay and dialogue, leaving Uncharted 2 with a lofty score of 96 on review aggregation website Metacritic, as of 29 May 2025.

Uncharted 2's score beats other PlayStation exclusives like Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerrilla Games, 2017) on 89, and even its own sequels. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (Naughty Dog, 2011) and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016) have scores of 92 and 93, respectively.
