Ana Carrasco (Spain) won the 2018 FIM World Supersport 300 championship, finishing 13th at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, France, in the final race of the season on 30 September 2018 to clinch the title by a single point. She won two of eight championship races – at Imola, Italy, and Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK – to finish on 93 points.

Carrasco comes from a racing family and started riding motorcycles at the age of three. She made her debut in international competition aged 16, on the Moto3 circuit in 2013. On 17 September 2017, she became the first woman to win an individual world championship motorcycle race, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal.
