Garcia increased his record points tally at the 2021 Ryder Cup, where he won three matches paired with compatriot Jon Rahm. This took his career record to 25 wins, 13 defeats and 7 halves. Since becoming the youngest-ever player at the Ryder Cup in 1999, to date Garcia has missed just one tournament, 2010, when he failed to make selection but served Team Europe as a vice-captain. The highest-scoring player for Team USA is Billy Casper, with 23.5 points.
