The Grand Musical Staircase in the Berjaya Times Square shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has 16 steps linking the Lower Ground and Ground Floors. When stepped on, the staircase produces a series of piano, harp, percussion and flute sounds, accompanied by LED sound graphs and rippling liquid panels. The piano stairs were constructed in 2013 at a cost of RM 1.5 million (£276,024; $455,196).
