On 3 September 2018 at the Fortnite Summer Skirmish qualifiers (at PAX West, Seattle, USA), a coin toss was used to determine the 33rd qualifier in a heat to see which players made it into the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Grand Finals 2018. Competitors "The_Real_Cryohme" and "SGG Colton" were perfectly tied for number of Victory Royales, eliminations and overall placement, leading Epic to declare they should be separated by a flip of the coin. "The_Real_Cryohme" won the coin toss, as well as $5,000 in prize money and entry to the Grand Finals.
