The most tries scored by a player in a single season of France’s Top 14 domestic rugby union championship is 24, by Chris Ashton (UK) for RC Toulon during the 2017/18 season.

Ashton scored twice on his debut. He went on to surpass the previous record of 21, set by Napolioni Nalaga for Clermont Auvergne in 2008/09, with a score against Montpellier on 14 April 2018.
