Bowser, Super Mario's long-standing nemesis, is the most ubiquitous videogame villain having appeared in 132 distinct titles. Bowser is best known for instigating many of the Super Mario games by kidnapping Princess Peach, causing Mario to come to her aid. Though he's also just as likely to be seen driving in Super Mario Kart, returning serve in Mario Tennis or throwing his weight around in Super Smash Bros. The latest game to feature Bowser was New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe on 11 January 2019.
