The 25 tracks from Drake’s (Canada, b. Aubrey Drake Graham) Scorpion were reportedly streamed more than 1 billion times worldwide in the week following the double album’s release on 29 June 2018. In the USA alone, Scorpion racked up 745.92 million first-week on-demand audio streams to shatter the previous record of 431.3 million, set by Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys on 12 May 2018.

On 29 June 2018, Scorpion broke single-day streaming records for an album on Apple Music (170 million) and Spotify (unofficially 132.45 million).

All 25 tracks from Scorpion charted on Billboard’s Hot 100 on 14 July 2018, giving Drake records for the most entries in a week (27), the most new entries in a week (22), the most Top 10 entries simultaneously (seven), the most Top 10 new entries simultaneously (four) and the most hits in US chart history (extended to 186).

Popular cuts from the R&B star’s fifth studio album included “Nonstop”, “Don’t Matter to Me” (featuring Michael Jackson) and the chart-toppers “God’s Plan”, “Nice for What” and “In My Feelings”.
