On the chart dated 2 June 2018, BTS (South Korea) debuted at No.10 on the Hot 100 with “Fake Love”, becoming only the third track by a K-pop act to reach the US Top 10 after PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (No.2 in 2012) and “Gentleman” (No.5 in 2013).

BTS previously scored the biggest Hot 100 hit for a K-pop group on 16 December 2017 when “MIC Drop”, featuring Desiigner, debuted at No.28.

“Fake Love” is the first track by a K-pop act to debut in the Hot 100’s Top 10, beating the No.12 start for PSY’s “Gentleman”.

“Fake Love” debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart with 29,000 downloads sold – the first No.1 for a K-pop group on that chart.

- In the same week (2 June 2018), BTS also set records for the first K-pop act to reach No.1 on the US albums chart (with Love Yourself: Tear) and the first K-pop act to reach No.1 on the US Artist 100.
