The fastest non-streamlined 3-wheeled motorcycle is 217.97 km/h (135.44 mph) and was achieved by Gary Sargent (UK) at Elvington Airfield, in York, UK, on 16 September 2018.

Gary suffers from myasthenia gravis which is a long term condition that causes muscle weakness. He decided to attempt this record after a challenge was given by his children to enter the Paralympics which he thought was "way out of his reach". Gary instead decided to focus on his love of motorcycles and see what could be done. He designed and built the motorcycle, known as "the Punisher", over a period of 18 months.
