The greatest number of successful rows across oceans under the leadership of one person is seven by Simon Chalk (UK), who skippered six rows across the Atlantic east to west – from La Gomera to Antigua in a team of five (Oyster Shack, 23 December 2007 - 29 January 2008); from Gran Canaria to Barbados in a team of 14 (Britannia III, 31 January - 15 March 2011), in a team of eight (Titan, 26 February - 31 March 2012), in a team of six (Titan, 15 January - 19 February 2013), in a team of eight (Toby Wallace, 10 February - 15 March 2014) and in a team of seven (Toby Wallace, 24 November 2014 - 3 January 2015) – and one row across the Indian Ocean east to west from Geraldton, WA, Australia, to Mauritius in a team of eight (Aud Eamus, 28 April - 25 June 2009).
