The oldest all-male pair to row any ocean (combined age) is the "Grandads of the Atlantic" team consisting of Peter Ketley (UK, b. 8 November 1956) and Neil Young (UK, b. 15 September 1957) who have a combined age of 123 years 122 days when they began their Atlantic row from La Gomera, Canary Islands to English Harbour, Antigua, on 12 December 2018 on board Pegasus.


The pair are former paratroopers and competed in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge race, finishing in a time of 63 days 22 minutes. They arrived in Antigua on 13 February 2019.
