The largest origami mosaic of a flag measures 1,303.62 m² (14,032 ft²) and was achieved by Arbnora Fejza Idrizi, Medreseja 'Alauddin' Prishtine and the Volunteer Group (all Kosovo), in Skenderaj, Kosovo, on 25 November 2023.
Arbnora was already the previous record holder of this record title and has been working on origami art for the past 10 years, so far creating hundreds of pieces.
She decided to attempt this record to celebrate Albania's independence day and the origami mosaic depicts indeed Albania's national flag. The mosaic is composed of a total of 90,424 pieces of origami paper folded in the shape of a pyramid.
