The largest plates mosaic (image) measures 163.63 m² (1,761 ft² 47 in²) and was achieved by Junior Chamber International Toki (Japan) in Toki, Gifu, Japan, on 28 July 2019.


Toki City is known for Mino-yaki, a type of Japanese ceramics. A total of 11,792 plates were used to create the mosaic that depicts kikyo, or balloonflowers, a ceramics factory with the iconic chimney, and a ceramic bowl.
