Largest tape measure

The largest tape measure is 0.87 m in length, 0.80 m in height and 0.56 m in width and was achieved by Ali Spagnola, Davis DeWitt and Tyler Reece (all USA) in North Hollywood, California, USA, on 14 March 2026

The build replicated the design of a commercial Craftsman model, scaled up with precise detailing. A custom mobile app was developed to control the deployment speed of the tape, adding a unique technical element to the attempt. The adjudication included full demonstration of functionality and professional measurement. The result marks a creative and well-executed addition to large-scale replica records.
