First Minecraft mob voted for by players

Among the activities reserved for Minecon Earth on 18 November 2017 was a chance for online viewers to vote a new mob into the game. There were four critters to choose from: Mob A, The Monster of the Ocean Depths, "an ocean creature that sucks players down with its tentacle"; Mob B, The Monster of the Night Skies, "a flying creature that seeks out and attacks players who haven't slept in a long time"; Mob C, The Great Hunger, "a lizard like creature that sinks into the ground, camouflages itself and consumes mobs and items with its huge mouth", and lastly Mob D, The Hovering Inferno, with "body parts like shields, used to defend itself". It was Mob B that finally took the crown, with The Monster of the Night Skies planned to make its debut in the Aquatic Update.
