The most snowboarding gold medals won at the Winter Paralympics by an athlete is 3, achieved by Bibian Mentel-Spee (Netherlands) in 2014 and 2018; and equalled by Brenna Huckaby (USA) in 2018 and 2022.
Snowboarding made its Paralympic debut at Sochi 2014. Mentel-Spee won the snowboard cross event (the only snowboarding event at the Games) and defended her title at PyeongChang 2018, before adding the SB-LL2 banked slalom on 16 March 2018. Huckaby won the SB-LL1 banked slalom and snowboard cross in 2018, and added the SB-LL2 banked slalom title at the 2022 Beijing Paralympics – although still competing as an SB-LL1 athlete.
