The most e-comic books sold in a comic book package (private sale) is 18,237 e-comic books, sold by KODANSHA LTD. (Japan), on 13 February 2018.
This special package named "Yumebako (dream box)" included 18,345 e-comic books published by Kodansha Ltd. and was sold for JPY 8,119,559 (£55,783.70, $73,114.80) on a digital comic portal, www.mangazenkan.com. The package also included iPad mini4, special backstage tour inside the digital publishing facility, invitation to annual comic award, signed autograph by two of the famous comic artists, and a special episode of manga featuring the purchaser published on a periodical magazine.
