In February 2018, Google decided to strip more than 2,000 five-star reviews from Google Play for the Android title Game Dev Tycoon (2018, Green Heart Games) in a move that baffled the developer. Green Heart Games, said that about 77 per cent of its reviews were pulled. Google told the company that the reviews had been pulled on purpose but Green Heart Games denied any wrongdoing.
