The highest fourth-innings score to win a Test match was set by the West Indies, who reached their target of 418, for the loss of seven wickets, in a match against Australia at Antigua Recreation Ground, St John's, Antigua, on 9–13 May 2003. Ramnaresh Sarwan (105), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (104), captain Brian Lara (60) and Omari Banks (47 not out) steered the hosts to victory.
Unusually for a Test match, both teams were dismissed for the same score – 240 – in their first innings, with Australia making 417 in their second innings thanks mainly to openers Matthew Hayden (177) and Justin Langer (111).
