The fastest time to travel to all Chicago subway stations is 8 hr 58 min 55 sec and was achieved by Joabe Bayer Barbosa (Brazil), James Barbosa (UK) and Matthew Plese (USA) in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on 10 November 2025.

Until today, this Guinness World Records title has not had a single Record Holder. For this attempt, if working with a team, all participants must travel together as one unit. Despite a few hiccups, such as traveling in the middle of a snowstorm, the team managed to travel through every station as a united front. All while proudly wearing their large 'Chicago' flags throughout.

Joabe and Matthew actually met while attempting another record; they are each on a mission to run every single street in the city of Chicago, which later became their inspiration to attempt this new feat!
