Acclaim's ECW Hardcore Revolution had the dubious honour of becoming the first mature-rated videogame under the USA's ESRB. Unfortunately, all the “extreme wrestling action” and “strong language” couldn't save the game from landing with a dull thud when it released (and was soon forgotten) in 2000.
