Rarest Sonic the Hedgehog videogame

Very few Sonic the Hedgehog gamers have gotten their paws on 1991's Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car. The official franchise entry was released only in Japan as a simplistic arcade game within a replica cop car. In it, Sonic is reinvented as a Japanese cop tasked with keeping keeping the streets safe from Dr. Eggman/Robotnik. Waku Waku Sonic Patrol Car was later “shared” online by a gamer who shipped a physical copy of one of the few remaining arcade cabinet versions from Japan.
