Highest annual earnings for a television actor in a current series (female)

For the second year running, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was the highest-paid actor or actress on television, according to Forbes, with $41.5 million earned in the 12 months to 1 June 2017. This meant that she earned more than any other star, male or female, banking $14 million more than her male counterpart Jim Parsons.

In second place was Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory, who earned $26 million during the same period.
