Highest-grossing leading star for action films at the global box office

According to The Numbers (www.the-numbers.com), Vin Diesel (USA, b. Mark Sinclair) is the most successful action lead, having grossed $5,855,350,823 (£3,920,560,000) from 13 action films from 2001 to 11 April 2018.

Diesel has starred as Dominic Toretto in seven instalments of the highly successful Fast and the Furious franchise, as well as portraying extreme-sports stuntman-turned-spy Xander Cage in the xXx series.
