Billy Gibbons (vocals/guitar), Frank Beard (drums) and Dusty Hill (vocals/bass) have been members of hirsute rockers ZZ Top (USA) since 1969. Gibbons was a founding member, along with Lanier Greig and Dan Mitchell, but in a disruptive first year for the band, Beard replaced Mitchell and Hill came in for Greig's replacement Billy Ethridge to form the current line-up. Gibbons, Hill and Beard – ironically, the only member without a trademark long, bushy beard! – had been together for 48 years as of January 2018. Famous for hits such as "Gimme All Your Lovin'" and "Viva Las Vegas", ZZ Top released a new album, Tonite at Midnight: Live Greatest Hits from Around the World, in 2016 and are still a regular touring fixture. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Golden Earring (Rinus Gerritsen/George Kooymans/Barry Hay/Cesar Zuiderwijk since 1970), Rush (Geddy Lee/Alex Lifeson/Neil Peart since 1974) and U2 (Bono/The Edge/Adam Clayton/Larry Mullen Jr since 1976) have also racked up 40 years or more with the same personnel.
