Having mastered the art of commanding all three of StarCraft: Remastered’s races (Terrans, Zerg and Protoss) it took virtual general “Vultus” just 4 hours 45 minutes 19 seconds to complete all three of the game’s campaigns. The feat was achieved on 10 September 2017 and verified by Speedrun.com. He was able to complete the Terran (human) campaign in 1 hour 17 minutes 19 seconds, the Zerg campaign in 1 hour 53 minutes 36 seconds and the Protoss campaign in 1 hour 34 minutes 9 seconds. The other 15 seconds were spent navigating the game’s menus.
StarCraft: Remastered is a visual update of StarCraft (1998). Both games share exactly the same gameplay, with any differences between the two being merely cosmetic. Speedrun.com records speed-runs completed on either game within the same StarCraft category, although any speed-run completed on StarCraft: Remastered is indicated with a "R" in the Version field.
