The Game & Watch runs the game Octopus, which was known as Mysteries of the Sea and Mysteries of the Deep in the UK. The objective of the game was to retrieve treasure from a sunken ship while avoiding being touched by the octopus. There are two versions of this game, Game A and Game B (in which the Octopus is faster) – both versions can be played on the Thomas Tilley’s device. The original release date of the Game & Watch Octopus device was 16 July 1981.
