Most World Taekwondo Grand Prix victories in a calendar year

Bianca Walkden (UK) won the women’s +67 kg category at all four Grand Prix events on the World Taekwondo calendar in 2017. She triumphed in Moscow, Rabat and London before taking gold at the Grand Prix Final in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on 2 December 2017. It was the first time a fighter had ever completed a clean sweep of Grand Prix events in a calendar year. In June, Walkden also successfully defended her +73 kg title at the World Championships in Muju, South Korea.
