Addo-Carr equalled teammate Holmes’s record with 12 tries in five games at the delayed 2021 Rugby League World Cup. Addo-Carr’s haul included four tries against Scotland and five against Lebanon – only one behind Holmes’s single-game World Cup record of six, which he achieved against Fiji in Australia's 2017 semi-final.
