Alphonso Davies (Canada, b. 2 November 2000) scored twice for Canada against French Guiana in a 4–2 victory on 7 July 2017 at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey, USA, aged 16 years 247 days. Davies went on to score against Costa Rica to finish as the CONCACAF Gold Cup's joint-top scorer, and was named as the tournament’s Best Young Player.
