A 1:1 scaled recreation of Rome's Colosseum in the sandbox game LEGO® Worlds (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, 2017) used 82,448 bricks and was built in January 2017 by Edward Revill-Johnson (UK), Jonas Walter (Germany) and Ushio Tokura (Japan). The trio form the online studio Gazamo Ltd. The real-life Colosseum, home to gruesome gladiatorial contests in early Rome (now capital of present-day Italy) measures 189 metres in length, 156 metres in width and 48 metres in height – measurements that are reflected with considerable accuracy by the team's build.
