On 13 August 2017, the makers of Roblox reported that the user-made game Jailbreak by "badcc" and "asimo3089" had achieved a peak of 103,000 gamers playing it at the same time. It was the most concurrent gamers ever achieved by a single Roblox game since the platform launched in 2006. Roblox is essentially an MMO platform that enables users to create games and worlds for other users to play and explore.
