The largest display of castle replicas is 44 and was achieved by Zoltán Alekszi (Hungary), in Dinnyés, Hungary, on 8 January 2021.
When he was 12 years old, Zoltán read a book called "Egri csillagok" (The stars of Eger). The book is about the siege of Eger in 1552. The book enchanted him so much that it inspired his Castle Park.
When asked how the castles are made, Zoltán says that he first conducts research, searching for available excavation floor plans, then consults with historians and collects relevant documents from libraries and archives.
Once he has enough information on the castle, he begins to build them from the materials that match the material of the original castle (wood, stone, brick, etc.).
"I build the walls first, then the roof structures and roofs, then the walkways, railings and stairs", he explains.
