On 22 July 2017, Jacopo Musso (Italy) won gold in the Men’s 100 m Mannequin Tow with Fins life-saving event at the 2017 World Games in Wrocław, Poland, in 49.02 seconds. Competitors are required to swim 50 m freestyle with fins and rescue tube before fixing the rescue tube around a manikin floating at the surface at the turning edge. They then tow the manikin back to the finish.
