Denmark won the inaugural GolfSixes European Tour event at Centurion Club in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, UK, on 6–7 May 2017. Two-man teams from 16 nations competed over a six-hole course, with a shot clock penalizing slow play. In the final, the pairing of Lucas Bjerregaard and Thorbjørn Olesen saw off the Australian duo of Scott Hend and Sam Brazel.
