Largest gathering of people with type 1 diabetes

The largest gathering of people with type 1 diabetes’ is 789 and was achieved by Karaz Platform (Saudi Arabia), in Karaz Camp, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 21 November 2025.

The record holder is in the digital health and diabetes care industry, specializing in metabolic health, remote monitoring, and patient education for Type 1 Diabetes. The aim for achieving this milestone was to unite and empower the global Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) community, raise awareness, promote education and technology adoption. This record attempt was to showcase the strength of the T1D community, reduce stigma and create global visibility for patients and families. All participants had to be present in one place together for at least 5 minutes.
