The highest standing jump carrying a 40 lb pack (male) is 1.15 m (3.77 ft), and was achieved by Albert Louw (South Africa), in Cape Town, South Africa, on 24 September 2023.

Albert has previously achieved the record for the highest seated box jump and following his success, wanted to attempt a second record.

He explains in further detail "It wasn't some grand plan; it was more like a wild idea that sparked in my head, and I thought, "Why the heck not?" Breaking records became my way of shouting to the world that limits are just in our heads. It wasn't just about proving something to myself; it was about making people sit up and realize that we're all capable of way more than we think. Two records in one day? Yeah, it was a crazy ride, but it was my way of saying, "Don't just dream big, jump big!" I hope it lit a fire under someone else's dreams, too. Life's too short for small jumps, right?"
