On 26 August 2017, New Zealand defeated England Women 41–32 – a combined total of 73 points – in the Final of the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, UK. The Black Ferns trailed the Red Roses 17–5 at one stage in the first half but went on to dominate the second, securing 80% of possession and scoring 31 points. Eleven tries were scored overall, with New Zealand prop Toka Natua leading the way with a hat-trick.
