The fastest marathon pushing a triple pram (male) is 3 hr 05 min 25 sec, and was achieved by Paulo Franco (Portugal), in Seville, Spain, on 23 February 2025.

Paulo had previously set a record for the double pram variation in 2017, with a time of 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 6 seconds.

After the arrival of another child, he was motivated to set a new record—this time with all of his children. As he put it, he wanted a “full happy sportive family,” adding, “I would like to cultivate the sport spirit and to set goals and achieve them on my children.”

Paulo described the experience of completing the 42 km and 195 m while pushing his three kids: 8-year-old twins David and Daniel, and 6-year-old Samuel, as amazing.

He acknowledged the particular challenge of the attempt: “This was a huge challenge, racing against time, because at these ages, kids are growing fast and getting heavier. But when the challenge gets harder, we just have to prepare better!”

He admitted that the most complicated part was the logistics, both during training and on race day, but credited the children’s mother, Stepanka, for providing all the support they needed.
