Victoria Shaimardanova (Ukraine) successfully completed a 130-kg (286-lb 9-oz) snatch in the +75 kg women’s weightlifting event at the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, on 21 August 2004. She went on to finish in fifth place overall. The 90-kg world records were established by the International Weightlifting Federation retrospectively, following their decision to introduce the new weight category in September 2016.
