On 11 June 1958, Brazil and England played out the first ever 0–0 draw in the history of the FIFA World Cup at the Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Brazil responded to the result by bringing in a 17-year-old for their final group game against the Soviet Union: Pelé.
