On 29 June 2017, Sony removed tile-based puzzler ★★★★★ 1000 Top Rated from its PlayStation Store – less than 48 hours after it had gone on sale. The indie game, priced at just $0.98, advertised itself as the "easiest PS4 Platinum trophy", enabling players to win a PlayStation title's highest achievement in under an hour, with some YouTubers even managing it in under 20 minutes. Suffice to say, the game – and Sony – came under criticism for effectively giving away trophies.
